Afgan Retriever is not a purebred,It is a cross between the Afghan Hound and the Golden Retriever. Their undercoat is wavy, thick and short. They also have some similarities with the golden retriever but their hair are more coarse in texture compared to the golden. They too has long face and small eyes and slightly long hair. They are also big in size with long hairy tail.
